PHAST
PHREEQC And HST3D
PHAST is groundwater model intended for evaluation of contamination events. Modelled processes include three-dimensional simulation of groundwater flow, solute transport, and multicomponent geochemical reactions.

- Model Information
- For more information about this model, go to wwwbrr.cr.usgs.gov
- Spatial Resolution
- Analysis area ranges from small areas through regional models. Model uses 3D Cartesian coordinate system, wedge and irregular shaped grids are used and the model is compatible with GIS.
- Temporal Resolution
- Rate equations must be written to use seconds as the unit of the time step.
- Outputs
- Model outputs include 3D flow field results, specifically head, concentrations, and velocity vectors.
