PHREEQC And HST3D

PHAST is groundwater model intended for evaluation of contamination events. Modelled processes include three-dimensional simulation of groundwater flow, solute transport, and multicomponent geochemical reactions.

Spatial Resolution
Analysis area ranges from small areas through regional models. Model uses 3D Cartesian coordinate system, wedge and irregular shaped grids are used and the model is compatible with GIS.
Temporal Resolution
Rate equations must be written to use seconds as the unit of the time step.
Outputs
Model outputs include 3D flow field results, specifically head, concentrations, and velocity vectors.
