MEM

Marsh Equilibrium Model

MEM is a wetlands model designed to simulate marsh dynamics under sea level rise. The captured marsh processes include sediment transport, water level rise, terrestrial and intertidal vegetative response.

Spatial Resolution
The depths are given in cm
Temporal Resolution
Time step is years as the model is intended to evaluate climate change response.
Outputs
Outputs include marsh elevation and vegetation response. Model generates output graphs and tables of anticipated marsh changes.
