Hydrologic Engineering Center - Prescriptive Reservoir Model

The Hydrologic Engineering Center's Prescriptive Reservoir Model (HEC-ResPRM) is a reservoir management model that uses flow optimization approaches to evaluate reservoir management strategies.

Model Information
For more information about this model, go to www.hec.usace.army.mil
Spatial Resolution
Model is network based. Resolution is based on the number of nodes and arcs specified. Watershed layout and stream alignment can be imported from HEC-ResSim.
Temporal Resolution
Monthly time step can be specified. Model intended for long term planning and simulation duration is on the order of years.
Outputs
Model outputs include reservoir management recommendations, specifically recommended diversions and their purposes, and system flows. Results are presented in both graphical and tabular format.
