The Green Infrastructure Flexible Model (GIFMod) is a adaptable set of hydraulic and particle transport modules that can be used to evaluate the stormwater retention and water quality benefits of green infrastructure (GI) as well as other urban and agricultural best management practices (BMPs).

Spatial Resolution
Physical system components and subcomponents are defined in the model and can include green infrastructure, overland flow areas, aquifer, urban areas or land use areas. These components define the spatial resolution of the model.
Temporal Resolution
Model will automatically modify the time step based on the computational requirements of the desired resolution. Simulation duration is typically months to years.
